Does this face look familiar? It’s normal, today Jawel is Edji Da Silva (he even has his own actor page on beur gay), but we couldn’t overlook his name as it has left such an impression on a generation.

Jawel had great success with the Citebeur studio, and it’s no surprise, with his bad boy style, piercing gaze, and tattoos that you could recognize a mile away. Jawel is a trained chef and worked in a Parisian restaurant during his filming period with the Citebeur label (2006 to 2010).
